What ingredients to I need to make this recipe?

  • Shrimp

  • Olive oil

  • Smoked paprika (or regular paprika)

  • Onion powder

  • Dried oregano

  • Dried basil

Tips for cooking shrimp:

  • Do not overcook. I repeat: Do not overcook! This will dry out the shrimp and make it more tough. Cooking for one or two minutes on each side should do the trick!

  • Wait until the pan is nice and hot to put the shrimp on. This also helps the shrimp stay nice and juicy.

  • Put the shrimp in a single layer on the pan (don’t overlap!) so the shrimp can cook evenly.

  • After placing the shrimp on the pan, don’t touch them except for to flip them once. This helps them get a little bit of a crispy exterior.

How do I know when shrimp is done cooking?

Shrimp cook very quickly! Watch them the whole time they’re cooking because it is so easy to overcook them. Keep an eye on the back of the shrimp where the vein is removed from. Once this turns pink, they’re done! Remove them immediately, otherwise they will overcook.
